Time

Three years ago today, I caught my very first baby as a primary midwife under supervision. Geez, how it seems like last week.

The baby from the very first birth I ever attended (back in the doula days) is now a second grader. Gosh.

Today is also the birthday of a friend I've known since we were four years old. He used to live two houses down from my preschool and we used to climb the orange tree together. Now, he has a house, a Masters degree, two kids, and a job he loves and has been at for 12 years. Goodness.

*sniff* I only get to be pregnant for two more months.
