Chiropractic College

I got invited to speak to a group of chiropractic students at Palmer Chiropractic College in San Jose today. We had to be there at 8:30 so I was up at 6 getting everything ready. O decided to sleep in until 7:30 (of all days!), so I just threw a dress on her and we were out the door.

I had totally forgotten how bad 880 traffic is on Monday mornings. Holy moly. Even with carpool, it still look over an hour and was stop and go the whole way. Near the end, O started getting motion sickness, ugh. 

We finally got there and I set up O with snacks and an iPad and did my presentation before the class. They asked lots of great questions about midwifery and when we refer to chiropractors. Other than my dress pants being way too baggy on me, I felt great. I love talking about and answering questions about midwifery.

O was so great. She can sit quietly and come to meetings and events with me now! Later this afternoon we took some CDs to sell to Rasputins and I bought her a couple Strawberry Shortcake DVDs. She's thrilled. It's the little things.
